Why Do I Want To Go To Vegas So Bad And Find Ways To Play Blackjack Or Poker A Lot When Im 16?

I like playing LCR and Bingo, especially at my vacation spot every year. I also like playing no limit texas holdem and blackjack over the internet with fake money. I thought 21 was one of the most interesting movies I’ve seen. (Never top Live Free or Die Hard though) Why do I have an interest in this stuff so early in life. Is it cause I’m bored with my current life and want to do something exciting and new? I don’t see why I should like to gamble, but I do know its allllottt of fun when moderated.

How Many Americans Are Happy W/ Obama’s „all-in” Poker Stance W/ The Future Of America At Stake?

In poker, there’s a maneuver called „all-in,” in which a player pushes all his chips to the center of the table in one big bet.
By that standard, President Barack Obama is conducting an all-in presidency.
The big bet is Mr. Obama’s first budget, which he has spent this week selling hard, from closed rooms on Capitol Hill to open forums on the Internet. It’s an all-in policy statement.
The budget attempts to launch at the outset most of the big policy initiatives the president has in mind for his term. It has money for a new health plan, envisions a cap-and-trade system for limiting so-called greenhouse gases, invests big money in alternative energy, and continues the flow of dollars into education started in the economic-stimulus package.
Its sweep is striking, which cheers Obama partisans who want bold strokes. But it also is a real gamble. It has scared some important constituencies, including moderate Democrats who fear the deficits it could create, and business backers such as Warren Buffett, who worry its broad ambitions will divert attention from core economic problems. It has drawn new attention to deficits, united Republicans in opposition, and made it easier for critics to paint the president as a traditional big-spending liberal.

In No-limit Hold’em Poker, Who Is First To Act In Each Betting Round?

As far as I can tell from reading books and searching online, the person to the left of the big blind acts first before the flop, and the first remaining person to the left of the button acts first in all post-flop betting rounds.
However, I have also heard rumours that the first person to act in each post-flop betting round should be the last person who raised in the previous round.
Which of these is correct?

Should Online Poker Be Banned?

The House of Representatives voted on Tuesday to ban online gambling including poker and casino games. However the same bill excluded online lotteries, horse racing, dog racing and various fantasy sports betting.
Given that an estimated 23 million Americans enjoy online poker, and in a recent poll 90% of Amerians do not think playing poker should be restricted, how do you feel about what our politicians are trying to do?
The new law will also force ISPs to disable hyper links to gambling web sites, which is technically pretty impossible. It will also allow for intrusive controls over what an American may use their bank accounts and credit cards for. In other words the government is deciding how you can spend your money.
This new law will cost the American tax payer $4.3Bn in lost revenue and will not protect anyone. Regulation and taxation is by far the better way to go. What do people think about this wholesale errosion of our rights as Americans?

Was Obama Wrong To Seize The Funds Of 24,000 Online Poker Players?

I thought he was in favor of freedom of the internet. Poker is not illegal, unless you lump it with the kinds of degenerate gambling intended by anti-gambling laws. But then online chess for money would be illegal too, as would dozens of other popular games.
I heard a rumor that the feds who seized the money had to hurry, because they were almost out of money, because they lost too much playing online poker. That’s probably not true, but, in any case, the fact that Obama lets them do it, and doesn’t do anything to stop it or reverse it, shows that he’s a two-faced lying politican like all the rest, and never really did believe in freedom of the internet.
What can we do about people like Obama, who deceive us into voting for them, then turn around and start restricting our freedom?
Maybe we could reduce their terms to one year instead of four years, so we could vote them out sooner? A constitutional amendment to reduce the terms of presidents, senators, etc. to one year, and easier ways to vote them out, could make a big difference. Such as letting people vote on the internet. Maybe a law that we could vote them out easier than voting them in. Maybe a trial period. They start their term of office, and if we don’t like what we see, we can vote them out via the internet at any time.
Or what?

What Can I Do To Draw My Husband Away From His Poker Game?

Matched Betting On Texas Hold ‚em Poker, Betfair?

Can anyone please advise us? We’ve been doing matched betting on texas hold ‚em via Betfair. We’ve run many tests with software etc, and also done 3 lots of our own hard cash, resulting in one day’s winnings over ?78, one lot breaking even and one of a loss of about ?35.
We’ve used quite complicated and tight rules at the beginning and were finding that hardly any hands were being played because it didn’t meet the criteria etc, so loosened up a bit and allowed for more hands to be played i.e. raising the initial lay odds limit and so on.
Our question is this, from those who have actually done matched betting on texas hold ‚em, not other sports – which do you think is the most important rule to not deviate from to allow greater ratio of wins? Is it keeping the lay odds as low as possible, or the number of outs above a certain number (currently we have it set to not play if less than 10 outs) and lastly, is it relevant to set a trigger to not play the favourite if it contains an Ace?
Also, has anybody found that the best time to play is on the weekend and not during the week days?
On our best day we had a hit rate of approx 82% but today this has gone out the window! Would really appreciate people’s thoughts on this, and if we have the basics correct on the whole and just need a little tweaking lol.
Many thanks :)
